What is Drop bin?

Short definition
A drop bin is a shared, gated receiving container in a co-warehouse where members place outbound packages for daily UPS, FedEx, or USPS pickup.
DefinedTermCanonical definition · EasyBay glossary

In a co-warehouse, members typically don't coordinate individual carrier pickups for small parcels. Instead, the building has shared drop bins — usually wheeled, gated metal containers — for each carrier. Members drop their labeled packages into the appropriate bin, and the carrier collects the entire bin once per day.

This removes the per-tenant overhead of scheduling pickups, signing for stops, and managing carrier accounts at the building level. Larger pallet shipments still go directly to the dock door with member coordination.
